HOME is my end of Masters short film and my biggest work as a Director to date.

In the aftermath of the EU referendum, Monica Carol – a Dutch-born woman – finds her sense of home and belonging thrown into jeopardy. As anti-immigrant sentiment festers around her and her two children, her estranged husband pressures her apply for citizenship before it’s too late. Headstrong and independent, Monica must deal with her own growing insecurity and the threat of Brexit to keep her family together, and ultimately makes a choice that will affect the future of her young family.
